The Jabula Coffee Club
Hi Guys,

The last coffee club kinda went to bed over the crap summer that we had but we are back in business for the busy autumn and winter months. Knowing that you will all be out and about trying to buy Christmas presents and suchlike we thought you might enjoy taking time out every once in a while to rest your feet, have a nice hot cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, low fat water (your call), and a chat.

The meetings will take place in the city centre for convenience and I was wondering who might be interested in meeting up at say 1pm on Saturday, 17 November - say at the large Insomnia coffee shop just opposite the Luas lines at the Jervis Shopping Centre?

RE: The Jabula Coffee Club
That sounds wonderful - Hopefully there will be a nice big crowd and it'll be good to meet up and have a few hours chatting to fellow South Africans.

RE: The Jabula Coffee Club
Hi Guys and Gals (or is that guys and dolls in the SA context?).

I am going to try and get the small room to the left of the main room as you enter Insomnia for us.  It can seat a fair few people comfortably and also allows us a degree of privacy.

Look forward to seeing you all there.  If you are coming but don't know anyone PM me and I will give you my contact details.

I am also trying to wangle a small SA flag to prop on a table so that the group is readily identifiable.

RE: The Jabula Coffee Club
Just so you know - we have 3 'yes' (including me who hit 'no' by mistake and can't change it), 2 'maybe' and 1 'no'.

If you are looking for me in the shop I will be wearing a light blue jumper. I (lazy that I am) have not shaved so look for a guy with longish (and going on the weather now - windswept) hair, some facial hair and wearing a blue jumper. If it starts raining before I get to town you might want to throw in 'looks like a drowned rat' but lets hope not...

Am looking forward to meeting all of you today! Given the weather outside we could not have picked a better day to hole up in a coffee shop.
