Be aware that this is also the weekend of 'Bloom' a horticultural exhibition going on at Ashtown Castle in the Phoenix Park. That means there might well be free public transport laid on from the city centre (this is usually standard for large events in the Park).

I must admit I did not go, did not even entertain the thought with the weather being what it was.
Even the ducks were looking for shelter! |

RE: BBQ-BRAAI in Pheonix Park On Bank Holiday Sunday 3 June 07!!
it was was very good but it could have been better if the weather was great..we got got stated at 6pm cos of that. The turnout was ok but like most of you did you stayed tucked in. not to worry we have arranged another one for the next bank holiday which will be 5 august 07 so keep the date in your dairy and lookout for info here in the forum or checkout [color=orange]www.myspace.com/brianksound for southern african and urban events we organise.

The 5th of August will be Festaac, the African Festival, we will have a market at Meeting house square in Temple Bar selling boerewors rolls etc.... so don't arrange something then as there will be live bands & loads to do.
